OK...I like the fat ass look myself!
However, these skinny treads can't be beat...for riding on train tracks!

I like the fat look myself, but isn't amazing how the body style looks great either way?

I'm going to say that the photo with the skinny tires has been tampered with. The white parking lines do not line up! Plus the tires look totally out of proportion.

my GL has some wide tires on it. The smith brothers found these wheels with a custom back spacing!

The 2nd pic of my car is an obvious photochop but, the 1st one is legit. The white lines are wider for RV parking. Here is another shot with the W11 hubcaps...I have W15's on it now. Skinny is how our Charger's looked for at least a few hours when they were new.  ;)

Anyone know what tyre/wheel combination the one on the left has? Those fatties look awesome, reminds me of the Blade car

how do you keep those 15x8.5's from rubbin in the front? the stance looks pretty good and you ain't got any problems???

There were two points of contact that I had to address on the front. First, the front lip of the wheel opening at the very bottom would get contacted by the outer edge of the tire on turns. Solution: gently curl the first inch or so  of lip inward with a pair of needle nose pliers and trim the wheel opening molding that goes there. Just curl the lip, not the fender!!! And only trim the lip on the wheel opening molding, not the part that shows in the outside of the fender!!!  Secondly, the tire would just graze the inner fender brace on severe road undulations at speed when someone was riding shotgun. Solution: buzz the fender brace about an inch from the fender, bend the inch of brace  left on the fender up slightly and  add approx 1 1/2 inces to the brace itself and reweld, thereby increasing the arc. No problems since. The fender lip mod is is done in such a way as to be pretty much undetectable and the fender brace mod is invisble. I would never have altered the car in a highly visible manner, but I think the muscular look of the end product justified the actions taken to make it possible. Of course, I could have just run a smaller tire....naaaaah!!!

Mine are 14's, but I can't remember which size.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

You should have no problem there. I ran the 255/ 60 15's mounted on seven 15 x 7's and had no issues at all so 245's will be fine. Good luck and keep me posted. Btw, did you order the new Vectors?

Hey, looks good. Yeah, I had checked on availability from my local AR dealer and he keeps saying two more weeks...next month..... I don't need them, I just figure it'd be nice to have them just in case I have to swerve to avoid hitting someone and have to hop a curb or something..you never know.  I'm really happy with the ones I got. I picked them up used and had them redone, they look brand new. I almost sh**  myself when I opened the box for the first time.  As I understand it, the new 15 x 8 1/2's wont fit on the front because of the backspacing. Anyway, good luck with the fronts. Let's see a side shot when they're all mounted.   Al

Phat is defiantly where its at!  I used to run 295/60-15's on 15x10 aluminum deep dish rims on my old 70'Charger 500.  Love the look of fat tires and wheels all around. Gives the car that "NASCAR" ready to race look.

Couldn't help meself...saw these two cars parked next to each other at a Mopar show, and thought; "What a contrast in styles"...
One obviously bone-ass stock, the other pure-to-the-bone street racer chic!
I couldn't decide which one I'd rather have!
Maybe one of each??

Does anyone have any other pics of the first black charger posted, that thing looks awsome.
