A pretty good tutorial on how to patch a quarter in.   :yesnod:

That is exactly how I have always done my quarters, floor pans & any other sheet metal work when possible. Right or wrong it is the way I like to do it.

He does quality work, great video. It's the only way I know how to do it.  Unfortunately a lot of panel replacement is garbage hidden by filler. A friend of mine bought a restored 69 Camaro SS that was recently restored. The car was black and looked razor straight. The paint started lifting. They had to sand 12 grand worth of new paint off the car and then discovered the car had the quarters butchered onto it. They had to be cut off and replaced. It's pretty sad what filler will hide.

I have watched this guys videos from time to time. He is based in western Canada and works mostly on older cars. Does a great job. Doesn't mind going the extra mile for his customers. He is unfortunately a rare one these days. He has a new video on a 74 Charger SE he just acquired and plans on flipping. Be interesting to see what he does and doesn't do to that car before it is up for sale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Uy0gEla9rU
