Hello!

Today I received some parts and so I decided to finally resolve the issue called "Bypassed NSS" on my Charger.

Actually at the position where the NSS should be at my 727 tranny there is a kind of plug.

So my first question would be if I can just install the NSS without taking out the whole oil of the tranny or will I need to empty the tranny first?
And my second question si about the "ring" that came with the NSS. Is it working like a gasket with a "round" side and a flat side? Whats the correct direction of this "gasket" which side of the gasket/ring must point to the NSS and tranny?

Hope you guys understand what I mean :-)

Thanks

John_Kunkel

If you raise the car so that the left side is much higher than the right, you will lose little/no fluid when removing the plug.

The gasket is installed as shown in the pic below.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

John, is there a torque rating for installing the switches?
I'm always afraid to squash the gasket too much.
Or is it designed to bottom out?

Thanks, Joe
