Can someone please show me or explain how these clips go to retain the clutch rod? The clip on the left is what I took off the car, the clips on the right are what I was supplied when I ordered replacements. Car is a 69 if it matters.

Thanks

From what I can tell on the interwebs this is what the clips should look like, and the clips in question look like steering column linkage clips.

I've got one clip like in the picture, guess I should order a few more.

In your picture the one on the left looks like it could be used for clutch linkage but I have not seen it before. The one in 440's pic is what I have seen used for clutch rod linkage. The ones on the right look like they're for the shifter rod linkages

In the OP's pic, the clip on the left is a parking brake cable retainer and on the right are shift linkage clips.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I need one clutch linkage.   I bought new ones. But somehow one walked off.   Possible to buy one?
