If you could buy any two cars from your birthday year what would they be and why ??
One has to be a mopar and the other non mopar

Every time I buy my lotto ticket.......

Hopefully we all have a Charger of some sort so my other mopar would be a 64 Barracuda
The big back window makes it look different and being a bit smaller it would fit in parking spots better

My non mopar would have to be a 64 Corvette
Back in high school in the late 70's the auto shop teacher had a nice blue one and it was always out behind the shop at the school as he drove it to work often and was so cooool
next project 70 Charger FJ5 green

timmycharger

1973 Lancia Stratos and a 1973 Ferrari Dino

Since nothing from Mopar or any other American company really interests me for that year..

alfaitalia

Don't think they had invented cars when I was born!

Oh...they had. In which case I could not live with a 67 Charger...looks only a mother could love! Imo of course.
So I would go with a couple actually launched in 67. The Mark 1 Ford Escort and the Toyota 2000 GT.....

No cars were built in my birth year but I'd love to have a half track or Sherman tank.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

69bronzeT5

I was born in 1992 so not many choices. I have three favorites though (yes, I know you said two lol)...

Ford Mustang 5.0 (I had a 1989, 2x 1990s and a 1993 but never a 1992)
Nissan Skyline
Volkswagen Golf GTI/ Cabriolet (have owned 3 Cabriolets)

so european wins .
1)Countach
2) pontiac grand lemans 2 dr coupe

Nothing in the mopar flavor does it for me after 74-07 untill the challenger came out.

JB400

Not much better for '83. The choice of  Charger was the 2.2 or the Shelby.  Or jump back to the previous platform and the choice is the Cordoba or Mirada.  I guess I could yank out the 318 that come with them and drop in a 360.

Wagoneer or Ramcharger look like my best choices.

WHITE AND RED 69

1982 had a couple cool ones. As an 80's kid the Delorean might be a good pick.

For my mopar, dodge and plymouth had a horrible lineup. I'd take a Jeep Cherokee

Non mopar, I always liked the Lotus. Or maybe the Ferrari 308?

Lotus's of that era where shockingly thrown together....I know as I sold them for a living for a few months in the mid eighties.

I would've had to wait 'til I was 4 or 5 years old before I bought any cars...nothing in '65 trips my trigger!  :shruggy:

Yep...

But in any event, I'd go with a Ferrari 308 as well, and - no joke - a two door Diplomat as a daily.

My choice would be either a red 1973 Motion Manta Ray GT Corvette or a black 1973 Pontiac Firebird with the 455 Super Duty package.

Normally I would have been interested in a Ferrari or Lamborghini, but their designs that they offered that year were  :eek2:  :puke:...

I'm a 1994 model. So not many choices. I guess the only 2 I'd want would be a Z71 extended cab Chevy pickup or a 379 Peterbilt extended hood day cab. No cars looked good in the 80's or 90's. That's a fact. Not an opinion.
1969 Charger 383/auto

Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Same here Pete, not much exciting car wise in 1964. For me, I would have to choose two from three possibilities, a Vette, Mustang or a GTO.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

If my year was '56, I'd want a first-year Plymouth Fury.

My year is '58. I'd definitely want a DeSoto Adventurer convertible. Not sure what the second would be. Maybe a Ferrari 250GT or a Dodge Coronet Super D500.

1983, not too much to pick from as far as American makes go, so I'd probably take a Porsche 911 Turbo.

A 413 Max Wedge car, yeah they're ugly but you said it had to be from our birth year so...   The reason is their performance and I'm loyal to the brand.  Not sure if I would pick a Plymouth and a Dodge version to fulfill the pick two request or if I would look at a 62 Pontiac.  They have a sick appeal to me sometimes.
In the end it would likely be the Dodge and Plymouth though.
