Reproduction Console Plate Kit (for Automatic)

Has anyone installed the kit in the link below or used any of the parts from it (you can buy the parts separately)? I was told by someone that has used some of these parts that they don't fit well and sometimes have to be cut to fit.

I used the 68 kit on an original console and it fit fine.
