The mustang is a pony car  :shruggy:, the Charger is a large heavy MUSCLE car.

That doesn't mean they didn't have a moment or two of temporary insanity...   :scratchchin:

68-70 would be the only Mustangs I would consider buying if the price was right. I have had several opportunities over the years & always talk myself out if it.

Honestly, I'd rank a 67-68 fastback (especially Shelby) above the 69-70 on *my* own personal list but I got the 70 Mach 1 because my dad likes them. It's a pretty cool car. My cousin had an orange 69 sitting out behind the barn when I wasn't old enough to drive and I swore I'd buy it some day. Sadly it rusted into the ground. I'd consider a 65-66 fastback if I could own 50 cars but it would definitely be lower on the list than 67-70. If I ever had unlimited funds, obviously a Shelby, Boss, or R-code would move near the top of the list but I'm realistic so my list doesn't include things I'll never have the opportunity to buy.

I guess I am the only one who prefers the larger 71-73 fastback Mach 1's.  Same size as a charger imo.
Also, I love the GT's.  Just don't have 250K laying around.

Back in '87 I called a friend about a '71 Mustang 'vert 4 door down from where he lived.  He had no info, but he did have a 72 Duster for sale.  I've been Mopar ever since.
Mopar forever!

Same here, '67-'70 are my favorite out of the early years, with the '69 Mach 1 being my absolute fave. :) My EX and I used to have a '68 coupe in the early 80's...bought it when it was only 14 years old, and it already had rusted out quarters & a big hole in the driver's floor pan from a leaky cowl vent.
We sold it to buy the Charger in 1986...and it already had a rusted trunk floor, due to small rust holes in the corners of the back window. ::)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
