I know it is not worth 26k.

my guess is its not that far out of line for an R/T 4 speed. I bet it sells for the asking price.

1970 buckets seats if no rot , broken frames or broken springs in that shape 250-400.

If the tracks also 1970 & are usable as-is, 100-150, up to 300 if exceptional.

No opinion on the car as it is or any other parts.

Yep, he has the "numbers matching" portion covered, and it is a '68 R/T 4 Speed, IMO, someone will bite very close to asking.

He's been trying to sell that Charger for at least the last 6 months. It's gone through eBay at least twice. Due to the rust, I don't think it will top $20k. I would guess 18-20.

What a POS. I'd guess it sells for more like $16k & that's being Generous. :scratchchin:

MrBrown562

He has been offered 16k and he will not budge. 1975 440 in it. It will take most of the AMD catalog to repair the metal work. He is set on 26k.

Can someone from Arkansas please explain why he had to turn over the title to get a registration?  This escapes me. Just title it in your name and then reg right? Why forfeit a title (go without one)?

QuoteThe gentleman I purchased it from never titled the vehicle in his name, he kept the 'green' Arkansas title, dated "Dec 14 1977" in his filing cabinet, until I purchased it.I have included a digital photo of the title for verification (I had to turn it when upon registering it in my name).

Price wise... 26k for a non matching 3x black 68 R/T 4spd, tag but no broadcast. It might sell to the right buyer with that factory color combo but you have to find them.  But the back end of that car is pretty rotted...  I guess we shall see.

I'd say there is no way in hell that car is worth anywhere near the asking price, & not even half. It needs EVERYTHING. :Twocents:

The wiring pic is on the orange GL Charger, not the black one in the Hemmings ad.  ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Realistically 15k, now the market "online market" is nutty so who knows.
Me personally I would happily give him 7k for the headache of ownership.

In Arkansas you turn in your old title to the state when you get a new title and registration.

Yeah, That's what I was trying to say. LEON.

I see lots of original stuff in place.--This is good--an almost whole car preserved.  ::)  --A Mummy car---After all these years.--A cool find indeed.

Reality check--All of what I see -in the pictures is this is just a frail map of the car it once was. It is toast as it is.--A working model if you will for reference.

To make this car what it was will be an effort to hand rebuild virtually everything we see.

The end result will no longer be what we see here. It will be a resculpted image of this car.

Whoever takes it on can only hope that a preserved ---pedigree--- for the car will add something to the end result.  ::) --(give the market what they seem to feed on).

I do like seeing stuff (cars) like this as it is. -- But I also (personally) don't like taxidermy. ---It is just somehow creepy in many ways.

HOLY H3LL what a rat's nest under that hood, WOW!!! 16K??

My '68 (matching 383-4 & auto) is light years ahead (metal wise) of the 3X black '68 above. But it's a 4 speed so I can't compete with that.

The Aussies would love my car if they're buying shells for 23k.  :smilielol:
