I would agree with that. I just don't see paying $15K-$20K for a rusty project that doesn't run or drive either.

That 70 was priced well below current market value. $15K for an unmolested 69 is pretty decent these days, and they're all in need of tons of work. If you don't grab it I'm sure someone else will really fast. Not saying you should buy it, but your $10K offer wouldn't get you much Charger these days.

I Say if you can do the resto or paint body work yourself then go for it. LEON.

Before I'd spend $15-20k on a rusty project , for only a little more I'd find a way to scrape up the rest for something like this . You are going to spend way more $$$ then you think doing a resto , way more time and aggravation to .

I put a pencil to this looking up all the parts that I can see it needs. I can do everything myself except the paint which I've put $10K on that. Plus money for a complete motor and tyranny overhaul. I would get two partial cars for good metal that would get me the rear frame rails and LH full floor pan. Even at this I'm looking at $25,300 to restore it. That's not counting anything I missed during the inspection and I haven't scrounged up any front seats for it yet. The correct ones are gone.

So I'd have roughly $40K+ in a standard Charger with E61 383 and AT on the column. My guess is the 40+ is actually closer to 45 or even 50 when it's all said and done. Not doing the paint myself is a killer on this one.

I'd be glad to pass his info onto to anyone here if there is interest. I'm going to pass on this one and continue to look.

On a side note, I mentioned the correct buckets were missing from the car. Would the correct ones be the same as other B Bodies of 69? Or even A Bodies? This car also has the Buddy Seat.
