Question on dash assembly on 68

Does anyone know if it'd be possible to completely assemble the dash outside the car and install it as one piece.

By dash I mean the frame, instrument cluster, pads, wiring, etc.  My windshield is out BTW; actually my entire interior is out.

I started assembly of it all in the car as a dry run before final assembly and its torture on my old carcass.  I'd love to be able to bolt the frame to some type of support and assemble it, then "drop" it in the car later.

Yes. That is actually the best way to do it.
