Hi guys, I've just uploaded some more pics of the Charger to the hosting site. I think these ones are better quality than the last (within the upload limitations..here goes:

Here's under the hood:

Nice and clean, the inner fenders are super straight.

A shot of the interior...

You can see where the Dash has been chopped for the radio. the previous owner covered up the hatchet job with that black non slip liner stuff you put in your tool chest.....Also the door cards have been chopped for the speakers and covered with carpet....its ok but a bit messy. You can also see the dodgy speedo gauge face...having looked at the Year One catalog, that looks like a bit of a pain in the a$$ to fix....Seats are non original leather "recaro" style buckets, but I'm keeping them, they are very supportive!

One form the rear...

One from the drivers side front:...

And lastly from the other rear quarter.....note the missing badge. Strangely, the holes are plugged on the LH side, but on the RH side have been filled and blended before the car went for paint...so I will have to do some careful measuring and ..drilling...aaaargh!

I've got a few questions to ask concerning particular issues, but will hit the Technical forums....
Cheers folks...

Nice ride Limey!

For the Charger script on the roof, you might be able to see the holes from inside the trunk so you dont have to measure.....
You might be able to poke through the bondo....unless they welded the holes shut...

Goddamn!  :icon_smile_sad: I'm still too in love with the "shiny shiny, curvy curvy" nature of the beast at the moment.....I can't even visualise me poking through the paintwork with an awl looking for script mounting holes.... :'(....good idea about looking for the holes from the inside....I would have been away with a homemade template and a drill if you hadn't mentioned it. ! ;D
It will have to wait a while. I'm gonna put an order in with Year One but am waiting until I have a list of loads of bits, because the shipping is likely to be about 8 billion dollars weather I buy a weatherstripping fastener or a complete interior!!! ::)

Even if the holes are filled, punching them through might result in paint chipping around the holes.Measure it up and drill it but be sure to stick a few layers of masking tape on it first so you don't slip and be sure to paint the edges when you're done or the scripts will rust off under that nice UK sun  :D

What exhausts are on it? I reccomend Flowmasters if you're going to buy some, it will make that 318 sound huge

I love the color! which is it anyway?
No idea...its one of the many things I don't know about it...... no fender tag, no broadcast sheet, no history file from the US....it's funny...someone has replaced the rear quarters wheel wells, trunk floor, drivers floor pan fixed the rear deck and sail panel, rebuilt the  motor, rebuilt the tranny with Heavy duty components, painted the car and then shipped it over to the uk, with its interior in a box and no paperwork...If i'd done that much on the car, I'd have kept every receipt, taken  1000s digi pics and forwarded them with the car. I hope to do some detective work, trace back the owners in the UK (2 previous) and then find out who it was bought from in the states. It's not a historically significant car, but I would love to know some info. As for the color, the best bet so far is PP1 like Telvis' car (see other thread) what do you guys think? I am gonna have to take it to a paint mixing specialist and get some made to match. Hopefully once they have it, they will be able to say which PPG colour code it is.
