Hi,

I'm looking for a new crankshaft for my 73 Dodge Charger, 318 5.2L my old one number is 3462387.

Can't find it on rockauto, I'm looking for one not too expensive with international shipping (France), any recommandations ?

Thanks

John_Kunkel

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

@John_Kunkel Thanks again !

I've seen it, I've been searching for a cheaper one, but apparently he's the less expensive one...

What has happened to your old one that makes it unrepairable ?
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

@alfaitalia

It seems that the formers owners had drive the Charger without oil for a while...

question remains the same!

just should need to be grounded to a new undersize then get new bearings... unless is already at 0.030" and got damaged, or DEEPLY beated out at 0.020"

aside that... an advice I can give you is be sure all the parts you need to replace or upgrade, make a large package and a larger shippment will save you on shipping cost.

I'm overseas too... well kinda of. I have a forward shipper in Miami which gets all my packages together at a warehosue and when is big enough, ship by sea ( no air )  up to Venezuela. Can't tell if you can get a similar service to Europe. I guess it should be something similar AT LEAST to a country at the coast. You are in France, must be somebody making it! I bet you are not the only one on same deal with American cars.

Yes you definitely right, by seas would be the cheaper option but when you need to get parts quickly "by air" is the solution.

Thanks so lot for your reply. I have another question for my transmission again, I'm going to create a new topic.

I'll have to find a shipper like that to Spain too sooner or later... I'm moving.
