Neely's car is out there, but has been restored to stock.

That's too bad.....just another price of history gone.  Personally, and it's just my opinion....I feel that "Day Two" cars have a lot more personality than those that have been restored to "showroom stock" condition.  But, don't misunderstand me, there is room for both in our hobby.  It's just that in my mind once a car has been restored it loses it's history.   I still remember how most of these cars looked back in the day on cruise night....and very few of them were stock.  Most had at the very least wide tires and Mags.   Again, just my opinion....it's really in the hands of the owner and what they want......
