I haven't seen anyone discuss this car here, so I'll post up what I can find. Mike announced this car on his podcast, and the car has become the subject of a Roadkill episode that is in production right now.

I'm excited to see this one. Especially after Mayhem became a rather boring one trick pony drag car.

According to a Facebook post, this car was crashed in 1970, then built to race USAC and NASCAR, but the owner came into money trouble and never got to compete with it. Finnegan and Tony are getting it running with a big block and a T56, and are road tripping it to track down the former owner, who's name is painted above the driver's door.

It looks like I won't be the only guy who drives a Charger stock car on the street!

8 lug wheels.

...AND some rather strange looking hubs. At a glance, the rears remind me of Dana 60 floating axle type hubs on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

That Charger was on ebay a few months ago. I talked to the seller-I believe he wanted 10K for it. He ended the auction early to sell to "a television show". And now we know which one...

Regarding the axles and wheels, Mike posted that the chassis is an odd mix of parts that were available in 1970 when the car was built.

1960 F350 4wd brakes, 1950 Willy's American rear axle with a 4.88 gear and open diff, and c body torsion bars.
