1968: suspicious seats and console

I just bought this 1968 and I'm pretty sure the seats and console are not stock. Can anyone confirm this and maybe tell me where they come from?

Those are not 68 parts

The console is from an A body mopar. Who knows where the seats came from.


  Looks like it fits 67 - 69 Dart.  Any way, something like that.

Instrument cluster is out of a '70. Looks like the entire interior will need redone, but that's pretty typical. You'll have to find some donor parts.

Brake pedal looks to be a different application as well.

Yes! And it's terrible for a car without power steering. It's going away soon.

And yes, there are a lot of parts that come from other cars. As long as they work, they'll stay in, at least for a while. There are a lot of other things that need doing first. :-)

Looks like it could of been a four speed car,   see the area in the drivers side floor. Looks like a four speed hump.

That looks more like an automatic floorpan to me.  


There are things missing but that's just part of the game these days.  Plenty of worse cars get rebuilt all the time.
