Hi,

So during my recent diff swap i had to jack up the rear of the car, and the car sat like that for about 2 weeks. I put everything back, and went for a drive, and this really loud ticking sound came on (almost like a clock ticking, but loud).

Feels like a lifter that is stuck?? Should i add anything to the engine to get it unstock?

Engine has 1500 miles on it or so.

Are you sure it's a lifter. Do you have headers.
I thought I had the same issue, but it was the header on driver side leaking

I had a loud ticking one time and it was the fuel pump. Also as stated above exhaust leak.

I think this stuff is amazing. Restore, quiets the engine, it's fantastic. Kept my 4 cyl on my old LeBaron running to 210,000 miles and died not due to engine failure!

Or you could try some break in oil, I am partial to the Lucas products. I think they work well.

With only 1500 miles on it it would be a little early to try transmission fluid in the oil but that would another suggestion. Quiets lifters.

If it only has 1500 miles on it, there should be a warranty. Best to get your money back from the engine builder.
