1973 Charger Drivers side big block motor mount

I have a 73 charger parts car with a 400.  I am getting ready to pull the drivetrain.  The spoil mount on the drivers s side is a beast.  Is it easier to take out the oil pump to get to the bit for the long bolt or take the whole mount off on the block side?  I work mostly with the earlier b bodies.....

You don't need to remove the bolt, just pull it out a bit enough to clear the washer from the mount on K frame. That's the deal on the spool mounts and why they are open on top

Thanks.  I was referring to getting to the bolt on the drivers side which is behind the oil pump and hard to get to.  I got it from the back side but I don't think it is loose enough to pull it up.  Wasn't sure if anyone pulled the oil pump to get to the front.

I got you, and as I have told you, is not needed. Lift a bit the engine to be able to release the weight over it and will be able to pull it out just enought to release it from the engine mount... or push the bolt at the nut side
