A friend and myself went to an old CLOSED salvage yard in the area. We were able to look around because his family knows the owner. While there weren't all that many great cars, I did manage to snap some pictures of some Chargers, Dusters, Coronets and such. Funny how the Chargers were the hardest to get to. I've also got a couple of VIN numbers for whoever from the 3rd gen registry does that, with more to come if I go back next week (1 Charger was locked up, another the picture didn't turn out well at all)

A 1973 Charger with a 400. Looks to have gone sideways into a tree pretty hard.

A '74 Charger SE with a 400. This is probably one of the most rotten cars out there.  :rotz:

Not sure what year this one is or what it is. Duster? Charger? EDIT: It's a Duster. (thanks hemihead!) . It was pretty hard to get to. I took a picture of the VIN but it was unreadable and I'll have to try again later. You can see the stripe and the snake skin vinyl top. I'm thinking '72?

The last Charger. It was also pretty hard to get to. I'm not completely sure of the year. This one is locked up with windows up and all. The interior is MINT if it isn't dry rotted. This includes an uncracked dash pad. I couldn't get the VIN on this one because we couldn't get in, and the windshield is all clouded over on top of the VIN tag. I will be able to get this VIN when we go back with something to break into it with.

First Coronet

Second Coronet

First Duster. I don't know anything about Dusters but it is a "Gold Duster". Rare at all?

Second Duster. Once again, no idea on this.

A something. Looked pretty cool. EDIT: It's a Pontiac Ventura. (Thanks Kenny!)

And one of those Dodge vans. I know they have a name but I don't know it.  EDIT: It's an A-100. (Thanks Kenny!)

I hope you aren't alergic to poison ivy. There's a ton of it in the first picture. Start stocking up on calamine lotion!! BTW..cool pics! ;D

What?!?! So I shouldn't have been running around there naked? Seriously though, I'm not allergic (thankfully)

Thanks guys.

No 2nd gen Chargers found yet. I would be all over them if there had been.

The '74 has those '71 fenders on both sides. Interesting.
