simple, that rat bastard will be killed in prison if he isn't in confinement.  i highly doubt prisoners will tolerate this just like men praying on, molesting and killing kids, that sort of thing.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Blown70

GREAT now we are going to take care of that POS..... nice way to spend the tax $$$. :rotz:

It won't take long to make sure he's being HANDLED by his 72 VIRGINS..........

He will end up hanging from something..........

I firmly believe in the death sentence and have always wanted a felon to have a speedy execution but in this case I would make an exception and this is why. That is what he wants. He wants to be a martyr and get his several dozen virgins (can't remember the exact amount). An American federal penitentiary is going to be absolute hell to him. I hope they feed him pork chops for dinner but our prison system is too touchy feely for that.

:iagree: I bet he will try to off himself as soon as possible.

If he doesn't, then expect the usual round of biographies & movies in a couple years. :rotz:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

He will live a lovely life in his cell. He believes his religion and what it stands for. How many big time criminals have been "offed" inside the walls in the last 20 years? I think Dahmer was, but who else? Heck, OJ is no better than this dude, but he's golfing every day. This Moussaoui guy needed a better lawyer. Speaking of lawyers, who defended him? Will he be dead in the near future? Defense lawyers are just as bad as the killers. They know what happened, but try and make you and I think differently. :Twocents:

nh_mopar_fan

No chance of him getting some prison yard justice. He's be in solitary 23 hours a day.

Arigmaster

They shouldnt leave him haning from something... Skip the 72 virgins and his place as a marter... I am sure they could arrange for 72 other inmates to make him their bioch...

He will soon have the curse of fleas from 1,000 camels in his armpits...

...then DEATH by those same fleas. :D

HOLD ON NOW!

Life, in this case, is certainly better than the death penalty.  Why, you may ask?  Because, by killing him, we make him a martyr in the eyes of the extremists.  Plus, he WANTS to die at our hands.  He WANTS to be a martyr.  By NOT killing him, we piss him off.  And I'm all for pissing this guy off.

Honestly, I would love to personally be the one to slit his throat, IF that wasn't what he wanted.  Let the bastard rot in jail, and keep him from the rest of the jail's population, so that they can't kill him, either.  Let him die of natural causes, and deny him his dreams of martyrdom.

Guns N Rotors

We have a 30 year history of responding to Islamofascist violence in a way that causes the Islamofascists to think we are weak and to attack up more. Started with the idiot peanut farmer and this is another case.

They should have sentenced him to death, boiled him to death in bacon grease, and sent the tape to Al Jazeera.

Hopefully they won't put him in solitary in the supermax. Turn him out in the general population and I doubt he would last long.

Feed the bastard nothing but pork.
Then he can go to hell (in his mind) for eating pork or starve to death.

I'm glad we didn't execute him.  (For the "don't make him a martyr" reasoning.)

And under the current system, it would have cost the U.S. gov't a hell of a lot more money to execute him than it costs to just give him life in prison.

He was too incompetent to actually participate in the final scheme, but he still got caught & tried & sent to jail for it.  And he didn't even get martyred, but rather got sentenced to several decades in an American prison!  Man, what a LOSER!

Vainglory, Esq.

I agree - life is better.  We don't need to manufacture martyrs for them, especially if they cannot see that the concept of martyrdom is one of the most disgusting ever foisted on humanity.

Give value for value...and let this guy rot for his actions.

Tie him to a chair, duct tape his eyes open and make him watch Motley Crue music videos 24/7.

Better yet, make him watch Madonna.

I'm envisioning something like that scene in clockwork orange...

Um... the guy is proud of the fact that his pals slaughtered thousands of innocent people.  That's good enough reason for me to judge his ass.

Ok, but we pay judges to judgemental. And when someone breaks the law and hurts innocent people we expect that judge to judge the situation and make a ruling based on the laws of the land. So is a judge sinning when he judges? I mean, he still made a judgement it just wasn't a judgement for the death sentence. So are you arguing against judgement or the death penalty?

Brock Samson

I think Silver raises a valid argument...

There are many contradictions in our justice system though it may be considered by some to be "The Best".
To my thinking "An eye for an eye" as a form of justice,.. is very Old Testament,.. if ya' ask me and as a Christian "Believer" myself, i need to be reminded many times everyday that the law was amended to "turn the other cheek".
These are not easy tenants to uphold.
I'm not a biblical or legal expert so I don't really know, I'm simply a self proclaimed pacifist who hopes to follow closer to the teachings of Jesus. I hope to follow my Heart rather then my Head... But I'm still taking baby steps in my faith.
I am appalled and stand convicted as much at my own anger and outrage at the many acts of injustice and violence i see everyday around me, not just in the middle east but here in my own backyard, and at my own prejudices, capricious judgments and determinations. I must say i don't know how to the right wrongs of the world in a single posting on an automotive website, I'm appalled by the determination of some that the best way to deal with the problems in the world are a few strategic Nukes in the "right" places or to invade our neighbors.
I'm sure some may find my feelings simplistic or even foolish and that's OK, I'm just tired of all the hate and the continuing circle of escalating violence and I would like to take a stand for peace. I'm not sorry for my faith.
I just wonder,..  can you call yourself a Christian if you favor the death penalty?.. And where then does the revenge stop?..
Let's not create another martyr.

I thought a jury of twelve peers judge whether or not the person(s) are guilty of a crime and in this case, also decided the punishment - life or death.

mikepmcs

now i gotta say something, that kind of thinking, like turning the other cheek and not judging and democrats, peaceniks and liberals are what has gotten us in to this mess in the first place. you keep turning the other cheek and you will get stomped, that is reality because the rest of the world doesn't follow the same principles, they will do it again and again if it doesn't get stopped or under control.
the bible and faith and love everyone... ain't gonna save you from a bullet to the head or an airplane in to the pentagon/twin towers, get it, they don't recognize it.  wake up and support what the US is trying to do, which is protecting your butts.

the last president screwed it all up, it's because of his demo careless attitude that 9/11 happened, bs'ing the public in to thinking the US is safe and then left it to GW to pick the fight and clean up the mess, and take the beating from all of civilization. say what you want about the man, but he's honest and he loves his country and is doing the right thing. i am so thankful everyday i wake up that there is a republican in the whitehouse.

i hope that POS mouse-a-sacha sh@# gets torchered in prison every day and they take him apart little by little so he suffers for a year or more in extreme pain and then finally dies as rat are eating his eyes.   :flame: :flame: :flame:

let me ask you this, if one of these guys killed your whole family or just one member, would you still feel the same way, i doubt you would turn the other cheek then.  I'm not saying don't have faith and by all means practice your religions and such, but for christ sakes throw a little realism in there too.

We all want peace, but until the US has to stop policing the world(never happen) because they are so screwed up over there we will never have it.  deal with it, it is necessary.

Team America F@#!  yeah, here to save the mother  F#&$!@  world yeah!

I don't think many Liberals truly advocate "turning the other cheek" on people like Al Qaida.  It's easy to find examples of extremist tree-huggers saying stupid things, but you can find the similiar idiots & extremists among conservatives as well.  Doesn't mean it's representative of the whole.

Yes, I agree that Clinton totally screwed up on not getting Osama.  Especially after the first WTC bombing gave an indication of how serious Osama was.

But Clinton was also trying to preserve several other delicate balances of diplomacy in the Middle East at the time by letting Osama go.
And George Bush Senior also screwed up on not finishing off Saddam in 1991, which would have spared us this entire second Iraq war.  And Reagan screwed up by supporting and arming both Saddam AND  the Taliban for years in the 1980s, including reportedly even having the CIA help train their guerilla fighters to be more effective . . . we could run this discussion all day long.

Hindsight is always 20/20.  I personally think there's plenty of blame to go around for both parties.
