Will this fit my application, this is the add, say's its out of a 62 Chrysler, had 440 magnum, mine is a 1969 Charger with a date code 1970 440.  Currently have an automatic 727 in right now. Thanks

A quick look and some quick thoughts.  I would contact the original supplier.  It has the shifter in the right place (you will still need to cut the tunnel and maybe massage it a little because it is a tall transmission.  The tailshaft has the notch cut out (like silver sport transmissions does).  This means less cutting of the crossmember if any.  So it looks like the right general type for our generation cars.

I think those are the two main things regarding fit.  Bell housing/scatter shield is different than my set up, but I assume works fine.

Bottom line is I would try to get more information, but so far it looks OK to an inexperienced person like me.  Others will know more.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

It'll work - the only thing im not 100% sure about would be the transmission crossmember because of the earlier B-bodies have the engine positioned slightly different in the K member than the later models - but the trans itself should work just fine
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

:iagree: That, and the shifter position have the most affect on TKO installations. I think B-bodies usually need tunnel work.

That .64 trans was the one used in the old Keisler kits.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
