Find original 440-6 carowner from engine partial vin?

I have two six pack engines I've owned for a couple of years now and was curiousif there is a way to track down the owner of the car that has that vin usingonky thepartial vin on the engines? I was planning on using them but if someone had the car that these engines match on I would consider sellling or trading.

If anyone knows how to find this out let me know. I'm sure the owners would like to make their car numbers matching. Thanks

How much "partial" is there ? any Letters etc ?

Haven't checked one of them because it's hard to get to but one has the 0 for the year and the letter for the plant built and the sequential numbers
