Here is a question I have not seen brought up yet.
Regarding 68,69,70 cars, anybody know if they made any factory special order (999 code) corporation (petty) blue chargers?
I've never seen any or heard of any.
Would be cool if they made some.

I haven't either.

The issue is that Richard didn't drive Dodge in those years.  He drove Plymouth in 1968 (16 wins), then Ford in 1969, and Plymouth Superbirds in 1970.  Petty Blue paint was never on a Dodge in NASCAR during the second generation era.  Which would make a factory 999 Petty Blue Dodge something to see.

Good points.
I personally believe some should exist.
Plymouth and petty were so closely tied in the 1960's that him and chrysler cars in general would have been associated in the public's mind.
(remember the gm guys, every dodge is a plymouth and a plymouth is a chrysler etc.)
Here comes 1968 with a beautiful new charger body.
Petty blue is a unique color on a car in the 60s generally speaking.
I would think more then a couple dodge charger orders would be placed by savy buyers.
