Radiator Coating Finish for 68 Charger

Does anyone know the correct finish for a radiator on a 68 Charger? satin black or high gloss????

Painted 30deg gloss black on the tank top and bottom.  Fins should be flat black.

Is it a special type of paint that needs to be used?

Eastwood makes a nice radiator black that is not too thick so it dissapates the heat better

I always thought that the rads were gloss black up untill the mid to late 70's?  Maybe I am mistaken? ???

I think 30 deg is semi-gloss, but I'm not positive... :shruggy:

30 degree gloss black is the same as semi gloss black.
