1968, 383 c.i., 4 bbl, 4 speed - 259 made in that configuration.  Anyone have the current count on how many we know of that are still around.  I think at one point Dan's 68 was keeping count.

I own one.
Not sure how many are around, although it seems there survival rate was good.
Mine is a factory blue car which is a score, as most seem to be the typical green.

the 259 number is not accurate

all of the '68 Charger w/manual transmission numbers are suspect

F8-4life

How is that?
This is the first I've heard of any skepticism.

Dans 68

I have qty 57 vin numbers, and photos/descriptions of 36 more. I guess you could then say that I know of 93.  ;)

Thanks Dan.  The guy I bought mine from worked for Chrysler back in the day.  He owned a Mopar yard in the Seattle area.  He told me that when I bought mine from him that there were only 259 made in that configuration.  So, I will take his word for it.
