I wonder what Boss Hogg is up to this time.

Bugs the heck out of me that people are gutless enough to steal stuff.

I'll keep an eye out for it.  I'll let you know if it shows up in Maryland on craigslist.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Fred

It's just disgusting that people will steal anything and everything these days. What's the world coming to? Doesn't anybody have a conscience anymore? Is no one taught right from wrong?

It's sad but there's people out there wanting things for nothing. They live off the government and scam people or just steal it.

Bad B-rad

That is just crazy!!!
I would think you would have to give it a complete paint job before you could sell it to anyone.
How many General Lee snow machines are there?
Some people are just slimeballs, hope they catch him, and the owner gets his General returned to him in same shape as it was stolen in.

They use to say "People would steel anything not nailed down".....Now days they just unscrew or unbolt  it and steel it anyway..........people have no respect for others or their property

As for this snow cat, if it's not parted out, it will surface in the future with a new paint job.

It was recovered thanks to people posting on popular media (ie. Facebook) according to yesterdays Denver Post newspaper.  Different people had posted about it going west on I-70 as it was being towed by a small Toyota pickup.  The police raided the suspect's house, but he somehow got away in the process.  However, the police did recover the stolen vehicle, illegal drugs and several firearms at the location.  The suspect is facing multiple felonies if/when he gets caught.

Great to hear, thanks for the update!

Thieves suck regardless of the item size or value.

Did they arrest the guy who painted it?
