How do you remove the front oil seal from the timing cover on a 340?

trying to remove the front oil seal from the timing chain cover with out damaging the cover, any help would be great, thanks.

Never mind, it is simple but time consuming. Just go around the edge of the seal knocking it in and then pry out.
