Anyway, Did you know the Japanese people are 10 times more patriotic to their own counties product,  than we are. (in the USA)  95 percent of them refuse to buy or drive anything that is not Japanese.
if only our country would behave this way.  Our own companies would grow bigger and better.  Just a thought...I lived there, seen it and talked with them about this...Good for them.

No offence intended but just a statement....maybe the Japanese are so patriotic when it comes to buying cars because they produce some of the best cars in the world and export them worldwide...and US car industry...erm...doesn't. Exports of US built cars to Japan are tiny even compared to the European built cars that are sent there....in the same way that next to no US cars are imported to the UK or others parts of Europe (Jeep excepted). Some of that is due to the the US taste in current car design appealing pretty much to just Americans..but mainly is that hardly anyone in Japan drives a car over 2 litres (much like Europe)...and you could probably count the Detroit built cars that come into that category on two hands ! Fuel costs outside the US largely influence that decision.

Not a good pic, but beside the Demon under a plastic cover is an F3 '69 Charger, and beside that is an R6 one I'm currently restoring. "restoring" in this case is a loose term, it's been painted now for a couple years.

Let's see, 4 69 Chargers all S.E.'s one's an R/T, one 70 Charger, all B.B. One 69 Dart 318 (for sale) hint, hint, one 98 Caravan with 416,000 miles, never been opened up, still drive it 75-85 m.p.h. One 2000 Dodge 1-ton V-10, 5-spd. One 14 Ram 3/4 ton Heavy Duty Diesel 6-spd, with 6300 miles on it, never seen snow. And the wife's 2012 Crew. Enough stuff for me, no more room.

No more bikes, to many stupid people on the road. Got broadsided on my brother's KZ900 two weeks after graduation in 78, that was it for me, still got the blind spot in my right eye. Dirt bikes were fun for awhile, though.
