Looking to replace my engine mounts because I'm swapping out the orig. 318 for a built 340. NAPA only shows 383 mounts. Are they the same as 318? If not where is a source for quality rubber engine mounts?

Not a Hemi, a mini-hemi 340.

For a 70 the rubber mounts are still available from Chrysler.  What year are you working on ?

I have a 1968 and am replacing the 318 with a 340. I went to the Mopar dealer today and they said there was nothing available.

Well I am not sure if they do have them but just because one place said no does not mean they can not get it, just means they don't want to do it. I have this happen to me before, get the phone book and call around or check out a big dealer who is on the internet. Chicago has one forgot the name think it starts with a K . The same thing happen to me on my Buick 2000, went to change the rad hoses a few years ago and thought why not put new spring clamps on. Had to ask 5 GM dealers before I found one who wanted to get them. Everybody else said there is no part # just use the worm clamps, which you can't because there is no room. Now the auto stores have them. Well you get my point, keep asking if they are out there somebody will get them for you.

If I remember right all the V8's in the 1970 catalog except the Hemi took the same part number engine isolator.

The Napa online catalog shows the same part number for 1968 and 1970 isolators.  I'll bet you can use the same part number I used if you want Mopar mounts.
I'll look up the part number.

Just keep in mind that the 68-72 340 used a specific LH engine bracket. The mount is the same as a 318, good luck.

The Chrysler parts book lists part number 2536121 for the engine isolators on 318, 383 and 440 engines.
That part number was used from 66 to 74.
They are still available for $36.85 list.

318 mount are different than the 340, I swaped the 318 from my challenger with a 340 if I remember one side worked but the other would not and I had to get the mount from epray.

Thanks for the info Plumcrazy. The part number sure will help when I go see those knuckleheads at the dealership.
Just goes to show how fast dealer parts guys give up on old stuff.
