Yes. They are notorious for taking rusty hunks of Charger, slapping bondo all over them, and painting them to look like a General Lee, then selling them for 40x more than they are worth.

Actually, that's not the bad part about HPLAG. On the old DC site and another site the owner and some workers there have been nothing but, a bunch of buttholes to some Charger people. They are very unprofessional in the way they have acted on the forums and misrepresent their cars they have for sale. When you point out something wrong to them they get all defensive and tell you to f*** off literally.

HLPAG is basically a worst-case scenario of a business. 

Taking advantage of customers' emotions, totally misrepresented cars, ripoff prices, bad paperwork, rude people, unwillingness to co-operate when they're caught doing their shady dealings . . . the works. 

Some of the stuff they've done is so blatant that it's hard to believe.  The real "Dukes of Hazzard" writers could get ideas for Boss Hogg's comical ripoffs from these guys.

Man I am laughing so hard. I can imagine an episode where Boss tries to save a few bucks on squad cars, so he turns to HLPAG. Comedy ensues when we see the cars falling apart in pursuit.

Sounds like a case of "How Low People Are Getting"? (feel free to think of your own acronym). The thing is, people are still buying from them. ::)  Caveat Emptor. Make sure you know what your buying because these days you certainly don't get what you pay for. Prices have gone stupid, just look at some of the stuff on greed-bay.  :o
