Early and late Charger Reproduction Trunk Floor Pan

I was comparing prices of trunk floor pans and noticed there is a '68 pan and a '69-'70 pan available. I noticed that my October '68 Hamtramck built '69 Charger has the early trunk floor.....and yes it's the original trunk pan.

I was curious if anyone knows when the change came in and why the change.

Here's a thread on early 68s.  I also have the early trunk pan, I myself am curious on the cutoff dates too, because my unmolested car has some early 68 features and some regular features

Cool thread there richf.   I never heard of an early '68 trunk lid before.

My 1969 Charger was built Aug 7 1968 and it had the early style trunk pan in it so I would guess all 68 Chargers had the early style
