Since we have a thread who has had their Charger the longest thought I would ask this one

Who is the youngest person and who is the oldest person that owns a Classic (1966 to 1974 ) Dodge Charger today on the forum ?

It can be on the road or still a project dream in the shed
It has to be more than a pile of rust with two hub caps and a steering wheel ( has to have an ownership )

Being 53 today will not make me the oldest or youngest  :icon_smile_big:

I'm 22 and have owned my 68 since I was 20, so I'm probably one of the youngest, although I've seen high schoolers on Instagram that own Chargers.  I've never seen them on this forum though.

51...not young enough to have any excuses....not old enough to know better!

Sure this is not the oldest...I'm 54 and have owned my Charger since 1979.

I am 41 and have owned my Charger since I was 16.  Time flies because I could swear that test drive was yesterday.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Very cool! Next year will be 40 years!

Does it have to be actual age.  I cannot figure out if I am wise beyond my years or really immature
Bought my charger from my dad in the early 80's as a teenager.

My age in dog years is really high though.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

We should tell the guys in the Aero Car section about this thread. I hear they are all old codgers (except Danny!). :P

Don Hayton (charger490) is 85. But now I see he hasn't logged in for a while. (We're friends on Facebook so I'll go bug him.)

So far I am the 2nd oldest owner at 65. But... I may be the oldest one who has had the same Charger for the longest time and/or percentage of his life.  ;D
I bought my '69 in 1975 and still have it. So, I have owned it for 43 years or 66% of my life.

Below is a photo a friend took 7-8 years ago just after I arrived at a show.

OMG very similar to my status. I'm also 55 and had my 68 Charger since 2012 (6 years). However I did NOT own a Charger when I was 14 lol. Nor at anytime until 2012.
