Hello, which way does the spare for a 70 Charger go in right side up or upside down, can't get my P 225/70/15 to fit in the spare tire mount area and what color is the jack base ???  Thanks

Lennard

The jack base is grey, same color as the upper portion. I can't help you on the spare tire placement, mine got stolen in 1986. :icon_smile_big: Although if I recall correctly, it was upside down & the jack base went in the center.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Mine is mounted upside down & yes with the base on the center of the rim with the crow bar/lug wrench & center post slide thru a U shaped bracket mounted on the driver side. Hell, now that I think about it I have never pulled any of it out of the trunk in the 27+ years I have owned the car.

Double checked mine last night & it is right side up, not upside down.

Thanks. Mine is far from done also. It is still all original & unrestored. Maybe someday it will get a rotisserie restoration but for now I drive it too much.
