Door jamb....

Hi guys.... looking for pics of the general position of the door catches on the jamb .....69 charger ....setting my doors to close correctly.... interested in the distance to the pinch weld and the tilt of the catch.....thx guys!

After 40+ years of abuse almost every Charger will have a slight variation from one to another. I just installed the doors on my 69 last month. The critical thing is to get the door to shut correctly with the proper gaps and body lines aligned first. Then install the latch. My passenger door took over an hour the get it right. Driver door, fifteen minutes.

They are adjustable for a reason.

I get the gaps as close as possible & then adjust the latch into the right orientation.

It can take several tries, so be patient.
