While still behind the Demon, looks like they want to play in Hellcat territory with the Mustang. I wonder what Dodge will do with the Hellcat. :scratchchin:

The Mustang still lacks the great styling of the Challenger.

Bring it on.  I always liked the look of the Mustangs. If they step up with price and performance it is a good fun thing for the car hobby as a whole.
We all know in our gut that the doors to having fun with cars will close again eventually.  Let's enjoy today so we can remember them later like we did with the 60s-70s.

i welcome it, even tho it will be the year 2058 before i could afford one lol

Disagree.  The Challenger design is stale.  I really like the S550 Mustang.

Good thing! I'd hate to see the Stang start looking like a stack of sheetrock going down the road

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

700hp seems a little shy on power to come playing with the Demon.
Ford need to up their game a bit more

Mustangs are pretty light in the rear. I don't know how they are going to get it to hook up with that much HP.

Curb weight matters.

The new Mustang looks like nearly equal P/W ratio with the Demon, but with maybe 400 lbs less inertia to fight on the launch.  It might not beat the Demon on their best runs but it will probably beat it in the real world.

See this?  This is what a Challenger Hellcat/Demon weighs.
