Noticed the Manitoba Plates. Think it's Good money for a Canadian. With the exchange and deducting commissions and expenses  seller may have done alright.

Just looking for it myself.  https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0118-310997/1969-dodge-charger-rt-se/

Thanks !

To each their own I guess ?
Granted, supposedly a Track Pack R/T SE Car with Fender Tag ?
But conspicuous to me anyways, around things like NON #'s Engine, a seemingly NOT so straight resto/body work, goofy rear spring height, no B-Sheet, etc.   I would be real curious to actually SEE the Fender tag and find out just how authentic this example was/is ?
I too believe the Canadian did very well versus what can be seen in the limited pictures.

Little tough to read with all the paint on it.

Pretty full Fender Tag for sure !

But originally a
GOLD Colored Car ?
with a
GREEN Interior ?

Apologies, I am NOT a numbers guy.... hopefully I have made a mistake here ?
IMO,
The Canadian did indeed do very well selling for $63,800

So it looks like Gold , no vinyl top , white stripe , with green interior . Seeing what I see in the pictures , as agree with others, the seller did VERY,VERY well !!!!
Wow , guess I should not have been concerned about color change . Restored a 69 R/T B5 blue/blue int/white top to fender tag,was very close to changing to 3X9, but sold it to obtain a real 3X9 R/T SE .

The best thing I see under the hood is the PS cooler !!!!

fc7_plumcrazy

the black Charger is a turd.
Bad cheap replacement quarters.
Doesn't even have sidemarkers in them

Carsten

darbgnik

Definitely looks soft in the body lines department.

Good money converted to the CDN peso.....

Good eye on the missing marker lights !   :2thumbs:

So many other things so wrong on that Car I completely missed the lack of marker lights in the 1/4's ?
IMO,
That's one hell of an expensive "Fender Tag", for a Car that doesn't fit ?

I agree about the color combo, but it was a "recommended" combination by Chrysler in the dealer trim book.  :shruggy:

It would not be my choice for sure.  ;D

JB400

Me being one that has a car in that color combo, I can attest that it's not that pretty of a combo.  They should have done a tan interior instead.

6bblgt

today, any introduction of a non-black, white, or same color interior is met with resistance  :hah:
&
then "WE" complain that new cars only come with limited choices  :flame:

gold/green - silver/green - yellow/green - green/tan - orange/tan - blue/tan were all acceptable decades ago

I have no problem with the Green interior, even on the Gold exterior ? In fact, the more I think about it the more it grows on me.
IMO, G11 Tinted Glass would be even better, a real standout Car !

My only emphasis on the Gold/Green was in relation to someone paying $63,800, with IMO at least a portion of that monetary premium being for original "numbers" rarity, for then acquiring a very poorly restored R/T SE Track Pack example in the wrong color ?
I mean it's just me I guess, and opinions can vary....
But if it were my money for valuation, I would much rather have the R/T SE Track Pack at least true to the Tag, even poorly restored in the Gold/Green.

What this means is if a car with all those flaws sells for that kind of scratch,  my car has got to be worth at least 90 large!!!

I've seen a Daytona with Y4 exterior and F8 interior at Carlisle in 2016, it was interesting and looks better in person than it sounds.
