garage heater venting

Went with a Mr Heater big maxx. Was planning on a quick ,simple through the wall exhaust but , just thought about soffit vent. How far from soffit do I need to be? Anyone have pics of their exhaust through the wall??? Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Check the installation instructions. They should show you several different venting scenarios. If not call your local plumbing/mechanical inspector.

Is it a power exhaust?  I really would worry to much about the soffits unless you're within a foot of them . . .

It's a strip vent and the soffit is pretty wide and goes down a fair ways.

Got the vertcle exhaust , cheaper and will probably look better considering what I would have to do. Now I have to remount heater as I think I will be right up to a joist.
