Yet another boring all SEC championship. I can appreciate that the teams playing (Bama and Georgia) are inherenty good, but its kinda boring to see the same teams over and over again.

Im gonna have to go w Georgia, only because Bama winning is getting old and because anyone who beats Bob Stoops and his douchey QB are ok in my book.

I'm not a big sports fan myself but the georgia vs oklahoma game was a pretty good game after half time. I'm from georgia so I was pulling for the dawgs but it was a good game and entertaining. They were very evenly matched and I will have to watch the alabama vs georgia game now since this last game was so good.

i am happy for all the guys who make it to the NFL, but college to me is the better ball being played, they are still "trying hard" for the love of the game

Good point about them trying harder, that is how I feel about minor league hockey, the guys are much hungrier and the games show it.

I am not a fan of college sports after what I have read over the years about the athletes themselves. Many of the schools with big Football or Basketball programs give scholarships to these kids who barely have to go to class, and when they do they are just pushed through the system and are not held accountable for academics like the rest of the students that pay to be there.

Its a sham all around. College sports make tons of $, but god forbid some kid gets a free meal from someone. The athletes should get paid considering how much they generate for the schools, at least the ones in high revenue sports (football/basketball). Salaries should be scaled so that they dont get out of hand and reach pro levels, but still.

On the other hand, its obvious why its not a good idea to let a talented but scrawny high school kid go straight into the NFL....

I'll be interested to see how the game turns out and like college athletics .... but I want to dispel the myth that they all feed money back to the University.

I heard it said once that the athletics department (Football team) is sort of like the front porch of a house.  My state school keeps losing money and has a perennially crappy front porch.  Alabama and Georgia win, make money, and have nice front porches.

Also think I am for Georgia after that last game.
