lawd...this front brake drum is gonna be the death of me...cant get it off.

i can not get the adjusters to turn, may have to destroy my drums...sad

did you take the wheel bearing nut off?  May seem like a dumb question...... but.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

no actually i did not, but on my 69 charger i didn't have too? i certainly can if it will help!!
its not only stuck it also will not rotate. This car has been sitting for probably 20 to 25 years...

The lug nuts are usually swedged so you need to remove the nut. This also made it more likely that the bearings would get repacked once in a while.

The front hub and drum come off as a complete unit. Remove the dust cover at the outside center of hub, remove cotter pin, then back off the large but and bearing washer and the entire unit should just pull off.

I'm thinking that a service manual would be your best friend here if you plan on working on the car

yea that didnt help, its still stuck. I tapped it with a BFH but its still hanging on like a hair in a biscuit!! lol I just went thru this same thing with my 69, and it at least let me loosen the adjusters and the drums rotated, the ones on this 68 will not even rotate...

it definitely would, but i have yet to purchase one. That is in the near future.

i cut the retaining pins from the back with a chisel. That sucker still did NOT want to come off. But i got a large pry bar, and two large screwdrivers and it finally had NO choice.
