yeah and if its on TV they call it a basket case and rust bucket , If only i could start with cars that nice that they want to throw away  .
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

That's some incredible metal work. I really like how the dash still resembles a stock one. One thing that I hate about custom muscle cars is that the dash always looks like its out of a Lexus or BMW...
1968 Charger R/T, matching numbers 440/727, black with green top and interior, currently getting restored by me

all they need for some of these rad builds is a 4dr B body shell and a charger roof an pair of doors  an an an yeah a simple few HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ??? WHY start with a solid shell that they dont even keep an use???   ???  ???

2nd gen chargers seems to be the car to modify because its such a great looking muscle car. Tuck the bumpers, shave the door handles and install a modern engine. Look at the great creation. If the car builders want to impress me build a 74 comet and make it look cool, not modify a car that is already awesome.

This is one of the few "rod shop" type builds of a second gen that I like. In particular, they accentuated the hood scallops instead of eliminating them.

I'm deep into a couple builds now and I can't even fathom the money/time/opportunity cost that is invested in this car. The level of detail is impressive.

That being said, I think that the tunnel/shifter sit too high in the cockpit to be comfortable/natural feeling. And the front grill opening got so angular/rectangular, that the head on picture of the opening is starting to resemble the modern camaro opening. I'm sure it will look much more charger like once the grille and headlights are installed.
