true charger love is when you sell both your 1965 Mustang and your 1966 Mustang projects to buy parts for your Chargers :)

i sold every other classic car i've ever owned to have 2 chargers, including my first car, also chargers are the only car i get excited over seeing in junkyards or fields and such, i appreciate all the other classics, but i just dont have the same desire to own any of them. maybe if they were in decent condition with a low price, but i wouldn't go through the same struggle to rebuild them.

i love most older classic cars, but i have always been drawn to FORDS and DODGES anybody can throw a pos chevy together lol

You know when you see your first a 68/69 Charger, that its a forever thing.

I had a 68 R/T (1989) and a young guy kept pestering me to sell it, so I told him a stupid price to get rid of him.
Next day he turns up with the cash in a envelope and says ''there's the money you wanted''.
After I picked my jaw up from the floor I asked if he wanted to take the car with him?
No he said, I don't have a driving license so can you drive it around to my house please.
Well I knew it was just a fad for him and he would sell it back to me...

Yep he's still got it , but I'm wearing him down lol... :popcrn: :popcrn: :popcrn: 28 years and counting...

Wives and girlfriends come and go but a Charger is always in the back (and front) of your minds eye... :D

yes sir i fully agree.

My buddy had a green with black vinyl top 318 auto when we were in hs, i tried everyday to buy it when it came up for sale, but just could not come up with the funds. I never knew what became of that old car... it was so freaking clean and i remember riding in it to the movies with their parents to see "Every which way but loose" with Clint Eastwood, if that tells ya the year  :o :o :o (1978) dang....

To answer your question.  When you have 4 of them and One since High School. (1985) I bought my 70 Charger. Still have it.

I actually called a friend about a 72 Mustang convertible back in the 80's when I was looking for my first car.  He said he had a 72 Duster for sale for $100.-, the rest is history.

Hats off to you, Harper, for going the Dodge route.  LOL.

Bonus points to anyone getting that reference.    ;)
Mopar forever!
