Mannix show?? dart an cuda ragtops??

    Out west ME/TV is showing reruns of Mannix at 2 am.

   How many Dart ragtops an cuda ragtops were used??  anyone know links to more info??

   Tonite they used 2 dart rags for 1 show.. 1 had 69 marker ,1 had 68 markers.an 67 an 69 tail lites?/

   thanks had forgot he had Dart ragtops on show,only remembered the cuda .

There are numerous interesting stories about the Mannix cars.  One was at Carlisle a few years back. Hemmings has several articles as well.

One story is the year Plymouth decided to NOT do a Cuda convertible. As I understand, the year was 73 (?). Any way, they took the grille & tail lamps and replaced them on a precious year car.
If you google it, it is somewhere I read on line.
Wow!  I just went and searched my pics, it was 2008 at Carlisle, where does the time go?

The 1968 Dart appeared in the first 14 episodes of the '68 season (season 2). The 1969 Dart replaced it for the remaining 10 episodes of the '68 season & the entire '69 season (season 3), the '68 would still make an occasional make an appearance here & there.

Both were GTS 340 autos that were customized by Barris. The taillights were a Barris thing (not '67) using his own lenses. It's easy to tell them apart, the '69 had sill moldings.
