Cool!  That would be interesting to play with.  Anybody know why it would have a snorkel?  I thought those were only for deep water.

Deep water is the same as deep snow.  The snorkel is essential to fight the snow.

Chrysler made a little sno runner machine too.
Like a two stoke moped with skies and a drive track..
I'd like to find one to tinker with one day.

There's s guy with a Sno-Runner at Carlisle every summer, with a too-high price tag.  I didn't see it this past one though.  My friend has one.  He says the fixed rear track means it's only good for 1.5 to 3" of snow.

They are unique for sure, I'd love to find a complete project for a couple hundred.
Seems like they are worth a bit more $$ nowadays.
