slap shift linkage help

alright almost done makeing my car slap shift i need to know underneith the car where the bracket bolts to that holds the rod strait that goes through the floor board

if it is the linkage i am thinking about it should get bolted to the trans.... in the pic attached while not 100 % correct it should be at the bottom of the torque shaft..... that gets bolted to the transmission housing...

yea i have a 1 but i am going to have to get a new trans but i am putting a 440 in it so i will have to wait till i put it is beacuse the one that is in there doesnot have the holes for the bolts.
