Prepare yourself guys.
In the near future after all the b bodys & more desirable cars are snatched up and stored in privite collections, this is the mopar stock that you will see on the market.
Overpriced, overhyped, non-original "muscle cars" in terrible paint jobs!

I saw this on Moparts.  If this car was closer I would have jumped all over it.
so ugly    :eek2:

A "base" vehicle like that, even a Matador, has potential in the right hands.....
Better but still not great , just lip stick on a pig
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

That black 69 Valiant:
ENOUGH of the flat black treatment. It has been done and OVERdone. Stop it.
$28,000 invested? How? Seriously, how do you blow that kind of money and still have a primer job on the car??

Then expect some buyer to bail you out of your mess.  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

....and I would expect tyres with some tread on and the hole where the tank goes through the floor to be sealed!!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

VegasCharger

I re-read the Valiant ad and didn't realize that on the very bottom his asking price is $35,000 K!  :smilielol: :smilielol:

Don't you just love it when the seller adjusts his asking price in the main header but forgets to adjust it in the description text.

So initially he thought "Yeah let me throw it out there for 35K" LMAO

Divide that by 2 then subtract $10,000.00 and it would be in the ball park.

Never buy a red or yellow Mopar, its a sign of CHEAPNESS... :scratchchin:

Bigblock in a A-Body, great in straight lines, death-trap around corners, if someone steps out in front of you, get ready to go to jail for manslaughter... :eek2:

Now we have a 39k 73 Duster.

:popcrn:

"Flawless"...except for the granny front end.

If you're going to sink that much money into an undesirable car, maybe spend some of the money on a '70-72 front clip.  And why stick a tacky confederate flag sticker on a nice paint job?  It does seem like a nicely finished car, however.

Still, it's a '73 Duster.  This guy is more out of his mind than the guy trying to sell his '69 R/T clone for $70k in the "Delusional" thread.

Is a 1970 340 Duster in that condition with matching numbers even worth $39k?

....4.11 Positrac rear end. Who actually makes a 4.11 gear ratio? Ford? I don't recall any Mopar ever having that ratio or "Positrac" for that matter.

ACUDANUT

I believe Chrysler made a 4.11. All I know is my Charger has one, don't know much else.
BTW 4.11's suck. Your running 4k at 60 mph.

Kern Dog

Chrysler had a 4.10 in the Dana and the 8 3/4". Aftermarket gear sets may have offered a 4.11.  Saying "Four-Eleven" sounds cool...maybe guys with 4.10 gears just say 4.11 ?
International Scouts may have had the 4.1 ratio.

Old Moparz

It's definitely priced too high, maybe at $8k or $9k or so it will sell. Also, it has so many parts from 73 & up, including the doors without the vent windows, that it's probably a just a mistake in the ad.

Here's my '71, had it since 1988 & got it with the original 42,000 miles.
