--just remembering there were quite a few fans on here last season.

--what do you think of the texans taking williams?

I do not like gulf cause I think it is one of the MOST boring sports there is....... The football draft is a bigger waste of tv space.  ::)

I cant believe the Raiders passed on Leinart and Cutler when they were still on the board. Maybe they didnt fit their system, but theyre the kind of players you want to build a system around.  :rotz:

Seriously!  I can't believe Leinart went tenth, but the Cardinals are thanking the football gods right now!

And the Raiders will continue to toil in obscurity as part of the dregs of the league for the forseeable future.

Shame they don't have a cheerleader draft, I'd watch that.

More proof that Al Davis is a boob. His system is assbackwards so nothing that makes sense is going to fit his system. Too bad they couldn't have grabbed Vince Young from Texas so they could have replaced that other boob, Kerry Collins. Leinart and Cutler, screw that, ANY QB would be better than Collins. I'd rather see them hike the ball to the fullback every time. I guess the Titans stepped in though. Oh well, time for another 3-13 season I guess.

dude...where have you been? Collins is gone..they signed Brooks from the Saints to replace him.  ::)

Where have I been? I've been waiting for you to update me. Is Brooks worth a hoot or is he another washed-up third-stringer?

he had a few solid seasons before he got injured last year and he seems to be getting old. Still, he should be decent for a couple of years if he can stay healthy. A couple of years being the key here..thats why they needed a QB.

Sounds like the same ol' same ol' to me. Al's shopping at garage sales while the rest of the league is fighting over top-end merchandise.

what is wrong with Huff from Texas??

He will play corner or safety and make sure those WR pay the price across the middle!!

Yes, Leinharrt did get screwed from not coming out last year but he will be a fine solid NFL QB!!  Reminds me of the old Stabler!!  Not fast or great but solid passer under 25 yards!!! ;D

nh_mopar_fan

You have got to be kidding me. When was Brook's "solid" seasons? This guy has been terrible in New Orleans for years. Bad decisions, tons of INTs.

He's a stiff.

:iagree:  He took every game as a joke. He would throw a pick, and 2 minutes later he's joking around on the sidelines. The Raiders couldn't be a better fit for a guy like Brooks.

Bush a Saint made my day. We might have some excitement down there this year. Let's hope we can sign him.  :-\ :boogie:

Nothing wrong with Huff (although I suspect I know why you like him).  But if the Raiders need a franchise QB (they do) they really ought to pick one!

I think the Browns did well this year. for 2 reasons

1. Phil Savage knew what we needed for linemen and went out and got him

2. Was not all googly eyed for some loser from Florida ala Butch Davis
