Hello Gentlemen.

Some assistance please with one of the codes on my tag which i am struggling to decode.
Lynch Rd tag
Top line The third set of numbers from the left.
I understand this is the Engine/Trans code
I have the digits 417.
Looking on the http://71superbee.com/Engine_Code/ page i can find lots of other codes but not 417.
My car is a 383 4 speed car with A/C. Is this what the code means ?
Thank You

yes, you can assume that "417" is 383HP 4bbl manual transmission with A/C (3-speed & 4-speed would be the same engine code)

most of the decoders are reverse engineered from known examples - 383HP manual is a rare combination, so it's not on that list - I'm sure John would like to see the documentation for your car to update the info  :2thumbs:

Thank You Sir,for your reply.
I imported the car at the beginning of this year and since it's been in my ownership I have indeed contacted John and it is now on the Superbee registry.

I hope your claim with shipping company is resolved in your favor and quickly. What a shame.

I've not been paid out as yet Bob.
On a positive note the cars first show was The Mopar Euronationals at Santa Pod at the end of July. I was very happy to win a 'Top Five' trophy.

My BEE is on that site from the previous owner, I'd like to contact the site but both of the contact links don't open to an email.  Do you have an actual email address for one of the site people?
Thanks Ron
