'68-'70 440 Engines used Flat Top Cast Pistons on the 2.025" Comp Distance

440 6-Pack Engines used Flat Top Pistons with 4 Valve Reliefs, but on the 2.062" Comp Distance.

BOTH Engines utilized 4.8 cc Steel Shim Head Gaskets, unlike Today where the 10.0 cc Composition gaskets are most commonly used.

I think the 68 - 70 piston is 2.030" - ish.  My 1980's NHRA legal replacement pistons actually measure 2.033 - 2.034"

The Sealed Power claimed CR are based on a blueprinted 906 head of 79.5 cc and the shim gasket, I believe.  Toss on a couple of valve grinds from low $ head work and your at 90+ cc.  People seem to overlook the significance of the head gasket too, as you pointed out.

well, the Hypers KB are on 6 pack engines rates. Seems to be a nice option on the cast line and price rate
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Put a stock cam back in it, because they probobly put the wrong, low compression pistons in it.  :Twocents:

Yes! can't go wrong with the factory 440 Magnum cam.
Make sure they don't use the regular 4 barrel cam.
And maybe with a 4 speed I'd be tempted to go up a little.
