If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

I just deleted my account and will be putting my pictures on one of the other dozen free picture hosting sites. The bucket still allows you to have 2GB worth of pictures on the site for free - they just don't seem to allow you to link to them. Or at least they are not being helpful about it. I think they are making a critical mistake with this choice.

I have found the simplest way to post here it so bring your photo up on the computer screen. Hit the print screen button then paste it to the simple paint program. I crop it and save it to a folder. It will be saved to the resolution of the screen which is usually less than 200 KB per image. The good part is if it looks good on the screen it will look the same when you post. No degradation.

funny enough it says that picture you posted is about 250, looks great though  :2thumbs:

was the limit raised to 400? i always remembered it being 200 kb

Stevearino

Just noticed they upped the limit here to 400 KB. If it had kicked it back I would have just cropped it a bit more to get it under the 200KB.

Yes, Troy had upped the limit to 400 kb.  Then there's this I found several weeks ago:

Still no idea if it works, and only helpful if you use Firefox.

That's great news.

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Thanks Kern Dog. It was certainly one of the biggest challenges of the build.
