I was hit, my wife too, and everyone I know was hit.

Sign up for the monitoring program they offer.  Be diligent about checking the activity on all your accounts.

Otherwise I'm a cynic about all of the modern financial world, we are all at risk, all the time, and it's all been stolen many times over. 

Yet I still have to participate in the modern financial world.  I choose to not live with cash only.  Just hang on for the ride.
