I did too. I don't even watch football that much. I just thought it was a silly and humiliating meme.
I find it funny to see someone with too much pride or self importance to get a bitch slap of reality.  :hah:

in wh/ you claim to relate by title funny things people do when drunk. But your little story had nuthin about drinking--it seemed to be there for the sole purpose of using offensive, ignorant language that you said was an oversight.

 :Twocents: In getting older, I have realized that something can be wrong with funny if it is in the eye of the beholder. I may not catch all of the subtleties when I open a thread and find it funny, but I stop and think when someone points out that my reaction could have been because it dumped on someone or some group.  However uncomfortable it makes me feel to realize why I found it funny, I appreciate having it pointed out and try to learn and adjust my behavior for the future. 
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."? 

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us. 

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I could get with all that XH, but the inconsistencies around at least these 2 posts by KD say sumthin else was behind his posting. Maybe just a childish attempt at recognition, boredom, who knows or cares? I gave the benefit of the doubt even tho his "joke" had nothing about booze/drugs as he titled the thread. So why tell it? Just to get called out then redact what he "forgot" to redact? There's not the slightest reflection by KD and some others who yuk-yuk the provocations. Neither do I think that KD nor ACUDANUT represent this forum, or Mopar generally, and as long as they're allowed to post so recklessly, I'll feel free to respond.  :drool5: Besides, it isn't as tho I gotta worry about offending them. Pretty sure they're immune. Itsa win-win.
